Created from a "bug's ear view", particularly, that of "lower order" in human terms. Insects, .aggots, beetles, etc. Creepy-crawler-scavenger species, some of which probably don't actually "hear" at all.
Everything is pitched down, slow-motion, stripped of much detail outside of lower frequency ranges. Diminished of complexity, retarded to an insectoid level as best as possible without becoming impossibly dull. The intention was to sort of create the imagined hearing of a maggot or a fly on a carcass out in nature as it burrows into the enveloping silence of its new habitat.
